    • 1,544 North Carolinians received a lifesaving transplant. Sadly, 143 North Carolinians on the transplant waiting list died due to the shortage of donated organs.

    • 24,018 citizens gave the gift of life through organ donation. 48,137 citizens received a lifesaving transplant. Sadly, 4,921 citizens on the transplant waiting list died due to the shortage of donated organs.
