The NC License to Give Trust Fund Commission is offering up to $10,000 in funding to educate North Carolinians on the significance of organ donation and advance care planning. Throughout the year, eligible North Carolina organizations and institutions can apply for funding through the Commission’s Fast Track Grants Program to help save lives and improve healthcare outcomes for individuals across the state.

"Through our collaboration with eligible organizations, we envision a future where more lives are saved, families are supported, and communities are educated about these vital healthcare practices."
The Fast Track Grants are open to North Carolina non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, campus organizations, community groups and church groups. To be eligible applicants must facilitate innovative projects, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives that foster public understanding and engagement on organ donation and advance care planning.

About the NC License to Give Trust Fund Commission
Housed under the NC Department of Administration, the NC License to Give Trust Fund and its commission were established by the North Carolina General Assembly in 2004. The Commission serves as an advocate for organ and tissue donation and advance care planning, establishing policies and guidelines to award grants-in-aid to nonprofit entities for the development of educational and awareness activities. Funding to support the License to Give Trust Fund is made possible through a percentage from North Carolina driver’s license fees and renewals.
